Daily Music Dose:Madonna

Truth is,there’s not much to be said about Madonna.Personally I’ve been raised listening to her musicals weird as it may sound,I was even lucky enough to see her live at the Sticky And Sweet tour when she did a concert in Athens which was amazing.What I would like to say firstly about this amazing woman is that if you listen to her,her music,her words of wisdom you’ll learn real life lessons! For example that when you have something to say,say it/that you have to live freely and independent!But I believe that we should talk about her music now.My favorite Madonna album is Confessions On A Dance Floor,due to the fact that it is an album with powerful songs that have a statement to make,I really hope that her new album MDNA is going to be as amazing as this album was or even better!Truth is I was going to review Madonna’s new single Give Me All Your Luvin’ and guess what?that’s what I’m going to do!(although I suck at making reviews xD). Give Me All Your has a really catching tune an amazing collaboration with Nicki Minaj and MIA but something’s missing and to be honest when I first heard it I was kinda disappointed,maybe I had really high hopes for her new single and it wasn’t what I expected I really don’t know what there is that makes me feel like that but I can pretty much assure you that in ten years time when we’re going to talk about the Queen this song is not going to be on her all time best singles…Anyway,really looking forward to listening to all of the songs of the MDNA album and you should to!!

Daily Music Dose:My Chemical Romance

My Chemical Romance is hands down probably one of the bands that made me find a reason to wake up in the morning and have a reason of existence.They have been labeled numerous times as “emo” and things like that which I am inclined to believe it’s really stupid but Gerard has said it best “Basically, it’s never been accurate to describe us. Emo bands were being booked while we were touring with Christian metal bands because no one would book us on tours. I think emo is Fucking garbage, it’s bullshit. I think there’s bands that unfortunately we get lumped in with that are considered emo and by default that starts to make us emo.”Taking that into consideration let’s proceed to what really is important the music.Truth is I cannot really describe you what they sound like just listen to them but I’ll try to.Musically they have changed a lot the last 10-11 years.Their first album “I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love” was really dark and amazing it had this i guess rawness and anger whereas their last album “Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys” is a happier album that is totally different from the previous ones in the best Way(see what I did there? ;)) possible!So listen to them they may change how you see the world they may save your life!

Daily Music Dose:La Dispute

They are categorized as a post-hardcore band but the truth is they are not your average post-hardcore band especially due to their vocals,they have screamo elements but their screaming has nothing to do with Asking Alexandria/Bring Me The Horizon style.That being said I would like to tell you that i discovered them some weeks  ago and they are one of the rawest,emotionally intense bands I’ve heard in a long time.Yesterday I listened to Wildlife from beginning to end without any interruptions,what I noticed was that it did not feel like it was just a studio record I felt like I was listening to them playing live in the moment and that is a feeling I rarely get.What is extraordinary about La Dispute are their lyrics.Some of the most emotional,sincere and really specific/detailed which just makes you imagine everything they’re saying I at least have ever heard…
